VNA & Hospice of VT and NH announces new President and CEO
Wilder, VT (May 20, 2008) – The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Jeanne McLaughlin joined the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of VT and NH in January 2008. “It is exciting to be part of an organization with such a proud history and a promising future,” states Jeanne. “We will continue to look for opportunities to collaborate with our community partners in providing clinically excellent services.”
Jeanne has over twenty years of experience in home health care, running home care and hospice organizations in Maine and New York. She comes to the VNA & Hospice of VT and NH from upper state New York where she led that organization to become one of the most profitable VNAs in the region. While in New York, she was on the Board of the New York State Home Care Association and active in legislative issues. Jeanne also consults for home care organizations throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic States.
In addition to her home care experience, Jeanne has worked in acute care, managed care, and education and had a stint as the ‘nurse to the stars,’ working on movie sets. Jeanne also has several certifications; including human resources, case management and project management. A native of Maine, she maintains a home on Big Sebago Lake.
