Annual Fund

Reimbursements from insurance companies and federal and state programs do not meet the costs of VNAH services. Donations from caring individuals, businesses, service clubs, foundations and the towns we serve help to make up the difference.Thanks to this generosity, we can maintain the highest quality care and continue to meet the growing demand for our services.

Circle of Caring

Supportat a leadership level means a great deal to a non-profit organization like the VNAH. While every gift, whatever the amount, is important, we could not fulfill our mission without the extraordinary generosity of donors who choose to join the Circle of Caring.

Circle of Caring Levels
$5,000 and up	Benefactors' Circle
$2,500 - $4,999	Partners' Circle
$1,000 - $2,499	Advocates' Circle
$750 - $999	Stewards' Circle
$500 - $749	Caregivers' Circle

Memorial Donations

Each year we receive more than 1,000 memorial gifts from friends and families whose loved ones have died. These important memorial gifts provide current and future support for the agency. Families are always notified of gifts made in memory of a loved one, although dollar amounts are never included in the notification. A listing of all memorial donations is included in our annual report.

Gifts in Honor

A Gift in Honor is a perfect way to thank a friend, family member, nurse or other health care provider. Gifts in Honor are often made in recognition of occasions like:

Holidays Graduations

Your Gift in Honor will be acknowledged with a special letter sent to the honoree. You will also receive a letter from the VNAH, confirming receipt of the gift.

Support a Program

Some of our donors prefer that their contributions be restricted to a specific VNAH program. Some programs for which we receive targeted donations include:

• Hospice
• Maternal and Child Health
• Al Howard Clinical Education Fund
• VNAH Community Education Events
• Medical equipment purchases

Please include with your donation a note about the specific program you would like to support.

Bequests

Each year, we are honored to receive financial support from people who name the VNAH in their wills.

These gifts are especially meaningful because they become part of our Board Designated Fund, which functions as an endowment and is professionally invested.

By producing current and future income, each bequest, whatever the size, makes a lasting contribution in support of our services and programs.
